Rezt Bangkok

The accommodation at Rezt Bangkok runs from rooms with a king bed or two single beds to bunk-bed dormitories. The two 22 m² Premier rooms have a city view and a private bathroom, and the 35 m² Family Suite has a park view, a bathtub and room for three guests on a king bed and a single bed. A 16 m² room for up to two guests shares its bathroom.

The dormitories range from 10 m² with four bunk beds, which has air conditioning and a shared bathroom, to the 35 m² mixed dormitory with eight bunk beds, a window that opens and a refrigerator. An Economy Room for up to five guests is also available.

Rezt Bangkok has a garden and a terrace, a bar and room service, and a shared kitchen with a vending machine, grocery delivery and food delivery. The 24-hour front desk is backed by a concierge, luggage storage, lockers and a taxi service, and there are tours, express check-in and check-out, daily housekeeping, a laundromat and an ironing service.

Free WiFi covers all rooms, with internet services and WiFi in the public areas, and free parking is available on site, with bicycle and valet parking too. The property has an elevator, a shared lounge with a TV area and a library, and it is wheelchair accessible. Rooms can have air conditioning, a hair dryer, linens, slippers, toiletries, towels, a separate dining area and an in-room safe box.

Rezt Bangkok is on Soi 22 of Sukhumvit Road, one of the city's main avenues, in the Klongtoey district of central Bangkok. The area is a mix of residential streets, offices and small street-food stalls, and the elevated BTS Skytrain runs above Sukhumvit Road, so the neighbourhood is well connected by rail.

Phrom Phong BTS station is 400 m away and Asok station is 900 m away, so the Skytrain is the main way to travel around the city from here. The line runs through the centre of Bangkok, so stations along it give access to the city's main districts and riverside sights without a long journey on the road, and both stations are close to the hotel, so the Skytrain is easy to reach at the start and end of each day. Benchasiri Park is 150 m from the hotel, a green space in the neighbourhood, and Jim Thompson House, a collection of traditional Thai houses assembled by the American silk entrepreneur Jim Thompson, is 4.6 km away.

A good day could start at Jim Thompson House and continue to the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, two of the city's best-known sights that sit on opposite banks of the Chao Phraya river. Chatuchak Weekend Market, in the north of the city, is better kept for a separate morning.
