Restiny Hostel

Restiny Hostel's rooms are mostly dormitory-style, with bunk beds, and they measure from 12 to 35 m². Most rooms have a city view, and there is also a double room with a queen bed and a family room with six bunk beds.

Several rooms have air conditioning, and bathrooms are either private or shared, depending on the room. Towels, toiletries and a hair dryer are provided in most rooms, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

The hostel has a bar and a snack bar, and guests can use a shared kitchen to prepare their own meals.The shared lounge has a TV, and there is a game room and on-site entertainment.

Phayathai Road runs through Ratchathewi, a busy district of shopping malls, offices, hotels and small food stalls that stays lively into the evening. It is one of the easiest parts of Bangkok to reach by sky train, and the main shopping streets of Siam are only a short walk from the hostel.

Phaya Thai BTS Station and Ratchathewi BTS Station are both 300 m away, and the Airport Rail Link at Phaya Thai connects to Suvarnabhumi Airport. Jim Thompson House, a museum set in traditional Thai houses with a collection of Thai silk, is a short walk away, and Siam Paragon is a large shopping mall nearby. For the old city, the Grand Palace is 4.5 km away and can be reached by taxi, while Asiatique The Riverfront, a riverside shopping and dining complex, lies on the Chao Phraya.

A day could start with the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in the old city, then continue to Wat Arun on the river. Back in Siam, the Jim Thompson House museum is an easy afternoon stop before a walk through the shopping streets. The Chatuchak Weekend Market is open only at weekends and is one of the largest markets in the city, so it is worth a day trip.
