Khaosan Road, the backpacker street with guesthouses, bars and street-food stalls, is 250 m from the inn. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha sits in the same complex as the Grand Palace, which is 1.4 km away, and the riverside Wat Arun is 2.1 km away across the Chao Phraya. Several river ferry piers are a short walk from the guesthouse, so the boats are an easy way to cross to the temples on the other bank. The Sam Yot MRT station is also nearby for trips across the city.

A good day here starts at the temples: walk to the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in the morning, then take a ferry across the river to Wat Arun, and return to Khaosan Road for street food and an evening stroll. Chatuchak Weekend Market, in the north of the city, is a separate trip across the city from the guesthouse.
