Fisherman's Village, the walking street of Bo Phut, is 1.1 km away and is a popular place for an evening stroll, with shops and food stalls along its lanes. Bo Phut Beach is 100 m away, and the Big Buddha, a large seated statue overlooking the sea, is 2.3 km away. Samui Airport is 2.8 km away, so the island's main airport is close for both arrivals and departures.

A day can combine the walking street with a visit to Wat Plai Laem, the temple on Plai Laem with its large Guanyin statue, and a swim at Bo Phut Beach. Central Festival Samui, the large shopping centre on the island, is 3.9 km away for a break from the beach. Further afield, Maenam Beach and the Na Muang Waterfall make fuller excursions from the villa.
