Ratchathewi Hyde Away

Every room at Ratchathewi Hyde Away measures 50 m², and rooms sleep either up to two guests or up to three. Several rooms have a city view and a bathtub, and several have a private bathroom with a shower, a hair dryer, toiletries and towels.

Air conditioning is available in several rooms, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Some rooms also have blackout curtains, linens, a flat-screen TV, or satellite and cable channels. Rooms with a bathtub also have a private bathroom, and rooms with a city view look out over the city. Baby cots may be requested directly from the property, subject to availability.

The guesthouse has an elevator, a shared lounge with a TV area and a gift and souvenir shop. A 24-hour security service is in place, and private check-in and check-out are offered, along with daily housekeeping.

Pratunam is a busy district of Bangkok known for its garment wholesalers, street food and shopping streets, and Soi Akaranithi runs off Phaya Thai Road into the middle of that. Ratchathewi BTS Station is 250 m from the guesthouse and Phaya Thai BTS Station is nearby, so the Skytrain is the simplest way to get around the city. Shopping, the Skytrain and the riverside temples are all accessible from here.

Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre with dining, cinemas and an aquarium, is 800 m away. The Jim Thompson House, a traditional Thai house museum filled with art and antiques, is also nearby. Further afield, the Grand Palace is 4.5 km away, with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha inside its walls, and Wat Arun, a riverside temple with a tall, ornate spire, is 4.9 km away. The Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's largest markets, is 5.4 km away.

A full day could start with the Skytrain to Siam and a visit to the Jim Thompson House, then continue by taxi to the Grand Palace and Wat Arun in the afternoon. Back at the guesthouse, the bar and the nightclub on the property make an easy place to finish the evening.
