Ratchada Hotel (ROTFAI) offers dormitory-style rooms, several of them mixed, with bunk beds, a queen bed or a single bed. Dormitories of 30 m² sleep up to eight guests, and there is also a 10 m² dormitory for two people.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and several rooms have a private bathroom with shower, air conditioning and a desk, while the four-person mixed dormitory has a shared bathroom.

It is a long way from the riverside temples of the old city, but well suited to travellers who want to spend their days shopping, eating and getting around the capital.

The Thailand Cultural Centre MRT station is 350 m from the hostel, and Jodd Fairs Ratchada, a night market with food stalls and shops, is a short walk away. The Esplanade, a shopping and entertainment complex, is close by too, and the Japanese Garden sits 600 m away for a quieter stop. Further afield, Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre in the Pathum Wan area, is 4.5 km away, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market is about 4 km, a market best visited at weekends.

A good day could begin at Chatuchak Weekend Market and continue with the shops of Siam Paragon in the afternoon. For the old city, the Grand Palace is 8.7 km away and is reached by taxi, so the evening can be spent on the riverside before returning to the Ratchada area for the night markets.
