Puck Hostel

The rooms at Puck Hostel range from dormitory beds in mixed and female-only rooms to private rooms for two, four and six guests. The rooms have air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi is available in all of them. Dormitory rooms offer single beds and share a bathroom, while the private rooms use bunk beds, single beds or a double bed, depending on the room.

Some rooms overlook the street, and others have a city view. The private rooms include a 14 m² twin room with a balcony or terrace and blackout curtains, a family room of 12 m² with a choice of bed set-ups for up to four guests, and a room for up to six guests with three bunk beds. Rooms sleep between one and six guests.

Puck Hostel has a shared lounge and TV area, a library, a solarium and a concierge, and luggage storage and lockers are available for guests. Daily housekeeping and a laundry service are offered, and tours can be arranged. Express check-in and check-out are also offered, and the hostel has ticket services.

On the food and drink side, there is a bar, a shared kitchen and a vending machine. A smoking area is provided, and Wi-Fi is available in public areas as well as in all rooms. English is among the languages spoken at the hostel.

Puck Hostel is in Bangkok's Silom district, one of the city's busiest business areas, where office towers, street food stalls and small shops line the roads. Surasak BTS Station is 650 m from the hostel, so the Skytrain is the simplest way to get around the city. Sri Mahamariamman Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Mariamman, and Soi Prachum Market are both close by, and the area stays lively through the day and into the evening.

Several of Bangkok's best-known sights lie within a short trip. The Grand Palace is 4.3 km away, and the Emerald Buddha at Wat Phra Kaew stands inside the same complex. On the river's other side, Wat Arun stands on the Thonburi bank, while Asiatique - The Riverfront is a riverside night market and shopping complex. Khaosan Road, the backpacker street in Banglamphu, lies in the old city and is known for its guesthouses and street food.

A full day can start at the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, continue by river boat to Wat Arun, and end on Khaosan Road or at Asiatique in the evening. The Skytrain covers the short hops around Silom, while the river is useful for trips to the temples on the far bank. Chatuchak Weekend Market, 8.8 km away, is best visited at the weekend, when its many stalls are busiest.
