Plubpla Hostel

Plubpla Hostel has bunk beds in mixed and female dormitory rooms, along with double rooms with a king or a queen bed. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and daily housekeeping is provided.

The Bunk Bed in Mixed Dormitory Room and the Single Bed in Dormitory Room each measure 24 m², and the dormitory rooms have shared bathrooms with showers. The 4-bed mixed dormitory rooms measure 9 m². The Double Room with Private Bathroom measures 14 m² and has a king bed for up to two guests. Some rooms have a street view, and lockers are provided in several of the dormitory rooms.

Plubpla Hostel has a shared lounge and TV area, a shared kitchen and a smoking area, and guests can use lockers and luggage storage, so bags can be left between trips. Tours and ticket services are offered, and English and Thai are spoken at the hostel. Daily housekeeping is provided, and the lounge is shared by all guests.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and Wi-Fi also covers the public areas. Parking nearby is available for guests who arrive by car, and the rooms have showers.

Plubpla Hostel is on Anuman Rachaton Soi, a side street off Decho Road in Silom, the business district of the Bang Rak area in central Bangkok. Office buildings, shops and food stalls line the nearby roads, so the streets are busiest during the working day. The small Chong Nonsi Canal Park is close by, and the side streets make a quieter place to walk.

Chong Nonsi BTS station is 550 m away and Sam Yan MRT station is 650 m, linking the hostel to the rest of the city by rail. Wat Arun, a temple on the Chao Phraya riverbank, is 4.4 km away, and the Grand Palace, the royal complex in the old city, is 4.5 km. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 24.5 km away, and Silom Square market is within a few hundred metres.

A day could start at the Silom Square market, continue to the Grand Palace, and then cross the Chao Phraya by boat to Wat Arun before returning to Silom. Back in the neighbourhood, the street-food stalls and small bars near the hostel make a simple place to finish the day, and the canal park at Chong Nonsi is close by for an evening stroll. The Chatuchak Weekend Market is further off, so it makes a separate trip rather than part of a walk.
