Pine Cafe and Bed

All the rooms have air conditioning and measure 16 m², and each one sleeps up to two guests. The rooms are the Private Twin Room, the Private Twin and the Private Double: two of them have two single beds each, and the third has a double bed.

The Private Twin Room has a city view and a balcony or terrace. Every room has a TV, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Food and drink are covered by a bar, a coffee shop, restaurants and room service. Luggage storage, a concierge, dry cleaning and daily housekeeping are offered, and 24-hour security is in place. A taxi service and a shuttle service are also offered, along with a convenience store.

Pine Cafe and Bed is on Naresuan Road in the Tha Wa Su Kri area of Ayutthaya, the former capital of the Siamese kingdom. The old city sits between rivers, and its temple ruins are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, so the streets around the hostel lead toward the ruins. The historic park is spread over a wide area, and most sights can be reached from the hostel by bicycle, by tour or by taxi.

Wat Mahathat, known for a Buddha head entwined in tree roots, is 400 m away, while Ayutthaya Train Station is 1.3 km away and links the town to Bangkok by rail. Wat Phra Si Sanphet, beside the old royal palace grounds, is part of the same historic park, and Wat Ratchaburana, with its prang, is also close by. Wat Chaiwatthanaram, with its Khmer-style prang on the Chao Phraya, lies 3.6 km away. The Chantharakasem National Museum, a short distance from the hostel, displays finds from the Ayutthaya period.

Bicycles can be rented at the hostel, and tours can be arranged for a wider look at the ruins. Don Mueang Airport is 49.6 km away and Suvarnabhumi Airport 76.8 km. In the evening, the hostel's bar offers a place to end the day, and the morning is a good time for a bicycle loop of the historic park before check-out at 11:00.
