Pause On Samui

The cottages, duplexes and the four-bedroom house each have a private bathroom with a shower, a mirror, bathrobes, a hair dryer, toiletries and towels, as well as an additional toilet. Several have a sauna, most have a mountain view, and garden views are also offered. Most offer a choice of bed set-ups.

The cottages and duplexes measure 156 m² or 170 m², and the four-bedroom house sleeps up to nine guests. Sleeping capacity runs from six to nine across the rooms, so families and groups can choose the layout they need, with views of the mountains or the garden from most of the rooms.

The property has an outdoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, along with a spa and sauna, a fitness center, a hot tub, a steamroom, massage services and a yoga room. There is a 24-hour front desk, room service and daily housekeeping, and an airport transfer is offered. Tours, car hire, bicycle rental and a shuttle service are also available.

Parking is free on site, and bicycle parking is also available. Free Wi-Fi covers all rooms, and the public areas have WiFi too, along with a laptop workspace and satellite or cable channels. There is also a garden, a playground and a babysitting service, and for meals there is a kitchen, BBQ facilities and vending machines.

Pause On Samui is in Bo Phut, a village on the coast of Koh Samui where old wooden houses and a working harbour sit beside the sea. Bo Phut Beach is 150 m away, so the sea is close enough for a short walk, and the village keeps a relaxed feel with its fishing heritage still visible along the water.

Close by is Fisherman's Village, the old fishing quarter now lined with shops and cafés along a walking street. The Big Buddha, a large seated statue on a hilltop near Bang Rak, is 2.4 km away, and Samui Airport is 2.8 km from the property. For the longer beaches, Chaweng and Lamai are much further, so a car or scooter is the easiest way to reach them.

A day could begin with a swim at Bo Phut Beach, continue through Fisherman's Village in the afternoon and end with a visit to the Big Buddha. Wat Sawang Arom, a temple a few metres from the property, makes an easy start to a walk through the village, and the Bophut Food Market is 1.2 km away for an evening meal. The walk back along the village lanes makes a relaxed end to the day, and Samui Airport and the wider island are easy to reach by car from there.
