Cindy's Tower viewpoint is 1.1 km away, and Sairee Beach, one of the island's main stretches of sand, is 1.4 km off. Koh Nang Yuan, three small islets joined by sandbars, lies 4.7 km away and is reached by boat.

Mornings are good for a walk to the viewpoints, and afternoons suit a dive or snorkelling trip with one of the scuba operators in the area. Trips to the smaller islands depend on the sea, and rough weather can stop the boats, so keep a flexible day in the plan. In the evening, the pier and the beach road are a short walk from the apartment, and the boats coming in to the pier are part of the village's daily rhythm.
