Mae Haad Apartments

The apartments measure 70 m² each and have two bedrooms and one bathroom, sleeping up to five guests. Every apartment has a balcony or terrace, a kitchen with cookware, oils and condiments, a microwave and a refrigerator.

Ceiling or portable fans, video streaming services, a hair dryer and toiletries are also in each apartment, and a crib or baby cot and a high chair are there for younger guests. Each apartment offers a choice of bed set-ups.

The property has an outdoor swimming pool, a kitchen and a car park, with free parking available. Free Wi-Fi is available, along with a free wired internet connection and a TV.

Mae Haad is the village around the ferry pier on Ko Tao, a small island in the Gulf of Thailand where life centres on diving and the sea. Dive centres, small bars and food stalls line the roads close to the pier, and the apartments are within walking distance of the water, with Haad Ao Mae beach just 350 m away. The village is small enough to walk through, with the pier, the dive centres and the beach all in one area.

Haad Ao Mae is the nearest stretch of sand, and Sairee Beach is 1.2 km away. Koh Nang Yuan, a group of small islets reached by boat, is 4.3 km away, and John - Suwan Mountain View Point, 2.3 km away, gives views across the island's hills and bays. Jansom Bay and Sai Nuan Beach are also close by, so the coast around the village offers several bays to explore.

A day could begin with a dive trip from Mae Haad, followed by a swim at Haad Ao Mae, or with a boat trip to Koh Nang Yuan when the sea is calm. In rough weather boat trips can be cancelled, so a visit to the viewpoint is a good alternative for a quieter day.
