Panvaree Resort

The rooms at Panvaree Resort look onto different views. Several face the lake, including the King Bed and the Queen Bed, the Queen Suite faces the river, and the Budget Double Room looks onto the mountains. The Queen Suite also has board games and puzzles.

Some rooms sleep up to six guests, and the Private Garrett House and the Garrett House King, both with lake views, offer space for larger groups. Rooms can have air conditioning, a fan, a mini bar, a refrigerator and a flat-screen TV, and Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. Ban Ta Khun is a rural area of Khiri Rat Nikhom district in Surat Thani province, in southern Thailand, and Panvaree Resort sits there, away from the provincial capital. The surroundings are green and quiet, with lakes and national park land nearby, and the provincial capital is some distance away. Khao Sok National Park is the main natural attraction close to the resort, at 8.9 km.

Khao Sok National Park is 8.9 km from the resort, a rainforest park with limestone cliffs and rivers. Cheow Lan Lake, a reservoir dotted with limestone islands, lies 19.4 km away, and the Kri Sorn Ranger Station is 3.3 km from the resort. The temple of Wat Phra Borommathat Chaiya Worawihan, a historic chedi in Chaiya, is further away, in Chaiya, and it is a separate visit from the national park.

A good day out is a trip into Khao Sok National Park, where the rainforest and the limestone cliffs can be explored on foot, followed by time on Cheow Lan Lake. Guests who prefer the water can also try the canoeing and boating offered by the resort itself, and Surat Thani Airport, 57.1 km away, is the main gateway for arrivals by air.
