Panda Lodge Home Stay

The rooms at Panda Lodge Home Stay include dormitory rooms with bunk beds, double rooms with a double bed or a queen bed, and twin rooms with two single beds. Most rooms have air conditioning and a shared bathroom, and Wi-Fi is free in all rooms.

A few rooms have a terrace or balcony, and the dormitory rooms are set up for one guest each, with bunk beds. The double rooms and the twin room are set up for up to two guests.

The area sits between the Grand Palace and the Chao Phraya River, and it is shaped by Khao San Road, a busy street of guesthouses, street-food stalls and night-time bars that stays lively late into the evening. Ferry piers on the Chao Phraya are close by, so the river is an easy way to move around the old city.

Khao San Road is 550 m away, and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) and the Grand Palace lie inside the same old-city zone. Wat Phra Chetuphon, the reclining Buddha temple with a traditional massage school, is close to the Grand Palace too. Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn on the riverbank, is 2.5 km away, and the Jim Thompson House, a teak-built museum, is a little further on.

The nearest train stop is Sam Yot MRT Station, 1.8 km away, while Don Mueang airport is 20.1 km from the property and Suvarnabhumi is 28.2 km. A full day could start at the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, continue with the temples across the river at Wat Arun, and end in the evening on Khao San Road.
