Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre, is 2.3 km away, and Jim Thompson House, a teak-house museum, is 3.1 km away. The Grand Palace is 7 km away, in the old city near the river.

For a full day, the Grand Palace and Wat Arun make up the classic sightseeing route along the Chao Phraya river, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market is a good choice for a Saturday or Sunday morning. Back on Sukhumvit, the Skytrain makes it easy to return to the hotel in the evening. Between the old city and Sukhumvit, the Skytrain and a taxi are the simplest ways to move around, and the hotel's location makes both easy to reach.
