A good day could start at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in the old city, then cross the river to Wat Arun, and end with shopping at Siam Paragon. Wat Arun and the Grand Palace make a good morning together, while Chatuchak Weekend Market is worth a separate visit given its size.
