New Siam Guest House

The rooms at New Siam Guest House come as twin, double and single rooms for one to three guests. Some have a private bathroom with air conditioning, while others have a fan and a shared bathroom, and the standard rooms take up to three guests.

The 18 m² twin and double rooms with a private bathroom include a shower and a mirror, and the rooms with a shared bathroom are fitted with a fan. The 20 m² standard rooms accommodate up to three guests, and the 14 m² single room is for one guest.

Khaosan Road is 500 m from the hotel, and the Grand Palace is 1.4 km away, with Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, inside its complex. Wat Arun stands on the opposite bank of the Chao Phraya, 2.1 km away, while Phra Athit Road and Phra Arthit Pier are close by. Wat Chana Songkhram, a neighbourhood temple, is also near the hotel.

A good day could start at the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, continue with a short boat ride across the river to Wat Arun, and end with dinner on Khaosan Road. Chatuchak Weekend Market, 7.2 km away, is a longer trip across town and is best kept for a separate morning. In the evening, the bars and street-food stalls of the Khaosan area are a short walk from the hotel, and the river pier is a useful place to know when you want to cross to the other bank.
