The market streets are lively after dark, and most of the town's sights are close enough to visit on foot from the hotel.

The night food market, 350 m from the hotel, is the place for an evening meal among local stalls, and the Ranong Municipal Fresh Market, 450 m away, is the town's everyday market for fresh food. The Rattana Rangsarn Throne Hall, 1.2 km away, is a historic throne hall in town, and the City Pillar Shrine, 1.4 km away, is a traditional Thai shrine. Further out, the Raksa Warin hot spring is 2.5 km away, set among the hills on the edge of town.

A day could begin at the market, then continue to the Raksa Warin hot spring for an afternoon soak. Boats to the islands off the coast leave from the piers at Pak Nam, and Ranong Airport is the nearest airport for arrivals.
