Movylodge Hostel

Movylodge Hostel offers a mix of accommodation: bunk beds in mixed dormitories, capsules for one guest, a double room with a queen bed and private studio rooms. Several rooms overlook the city, and the rooms can have air conditioning, blackout curtains, hair dryers and showers.

The Jim Thompson House, a teak-built museum of Thai silk and art, is 600 m away, and the Siam Paragon shopping mall, which has an ocean aquarium inside, is 750 m from the hostel. Ratchathewi BTS station, 200 m away, links the area to the rest of the city by skytrain, and the Airport Rail Link stops at Phaya Thai station nearby, a useful connection to Suvarnabhumi Airport.

A day out can start at the Grand Palace, 4.4 km away, where the Temple of the Emerald Buddha sits inside the complex, and continue to Wat Arun on the river. For a weekend outing, the Chatuchak Weekend Market is 5.4 km away and is one of the largest markets in Thailand. In the evening, Khaosan Road, the backpacker street in the old city, makes an easy outing from the hostel.
