Moonstone

This part of the island suits guests who want the sea close at hand but prefer a calmer stretch of coast to the busiest beach areas.

Wat Laem Suwannaram, a temple with a pagoda, is 2 km away, and the Big Buddha, a large Buddha statue on a hill near Bophut, is 2.1 km away. Samui Airport is 4.5 km from the villa. Fisherman's Village in Bophut has a walking street of shops and cafés, and Haad Bophut, a sandy beach with a village atmosphere, lies nearby along the coast.

A car or scooter gives access to the island's beaches and markets, and the villa offers free parking for guests who drive. A day could start at Samrong Beach, continue to the temples around Choeng Mon and the Big Buddha, and end at the Fisherman's Village in Bophut. Ang Thong Marine Park, a group of islands offshore, is a day trip for those who want to explore the sea further out.
