Chaweng's bars and shops are a short stroll from the sand, and the bay stays lively through the evening.

Chaweng Yai Beach is 700 m away, and Central Festival Samui, a large shopping centre, is 650 m from the property. The Night Market and the Walking Street, with stalls, food and shops, are the evening draw of the area. Samui Airport, the island's airport, is 1.7 km away, and the Samui Crocodile Farm, a zoo with crocodiles and other animals, is 2.1 km away.

A day can combine a swim at Chaweng Yai Beach with a stroll along the Walking Street in the evening. For a different outing, the Big Buddha, a large seated Buddha statue 4.2 km away, is one of the best-known sights on the island, and the Fisherman's Village in Bophut is an easy evening visit from the beach road.
