Moon Piti

The rooms at Moon Piti include single rooms for one guest, a double room, and family rooms sleeping up to five. Some rooms have a city view, and the Family Room, which measures 13 m², sleeps up to four guests with a double bed, a single bed and a sofa bed.

Some rooms have air conditioning, and some bathrooms have toiletries, towels and a hair dryer. Dormitory-style rooms are available for one guest each, with a shared bathroom. Rooms with a city view overlook the city of Bangkok, and the Family Room also has an electric kettle and a private bathroom.

Moon Piti has a 24-hour front desk, room service and luggage storage for guests, and Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. Wi-Fi is also available in the public areas, and the internet access is wireless.

Paid parking is available on site for guests who travel by car, and the public areas are air-conditioned. Pets are allowed, and litter boxes are provided.

Some rooms have a closet, a clothes rack, ironing facilities and a separate dining area, and rooms also have toiletries, towels and a hair dryer. A microwave and a refrigerator are available in some rooms, and family rooms are offered. English is one of the languages available at the inn.

Moon Piti is on Soi Pradu in the Chinatown area of Bangkok, a district known for its shophouses, street food and crowded traffic along Yaowarat Road. The streets around the inn are busy with small shops and food stalls, and the temples and markets are close to the river. Visitors come to the area for the food, the old temples and the evening street life.

Yaowarat Road is 200 m away, and Wat Traimit Witthayaram Worawihan, the temple that houses the Golden Buddha statue, is 250 m away. Hua Lamphong Railway Station, Bangkok's main railway station, is 400 m from the inn, and a ferry pier is nearby, so the inn is convenient for arrivals by train. Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn on the riverbank, and the Grand Palace are both 2.6 km away.

A day could begin with the Golden Buddha at Wat Traimit, continue through the markets along Yaowarat Road, and end with the Temple of the Dawn across the river. The Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha stand within the same complex, so they can be visited together in one trip. The Chatuchak Weekend Market is further away and is best kept for a separate day.
