Mitr Inn Khaosan Road

Every room at Mitr Inn Khaosan Road has air conditioning and its own private entrance, along with linens, a desk and a socket near the bed. The bathroom is shared, with a shower, and free bottled water is provided in the rooms.

It is a lively corner of the city, popular with visitors who come to see the old town.

Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is 1.1 km away, and the Grand Palace, the former royal residence beside it, is 1.3 km. Wat Pho, with its reclining Buddha, lies in the same old town, and Wat Arun on the bank of the Chao Phraya river is 2 km away. The Phra Arthit ferry pier, for boats along the river, is 800 m from the hostel.

The riverside ferries link the old town with Asiatique on the riverfront, and the Sam Yot MRT station is nearby for trips further afield. Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of the largest markets in the city, is a longer journey from here, and a full day can start at the Grand Palace and end with a boat ride along the river.
