Miss Zhao Hostel

Miss Zhao Hostel has dormitory rooms of 30 and 40 m² that sleep up to three guests, with air conditioning in each of them. The female dormitory and the mixed dormitory are both 30 m² rooms. The 40 m² shared room has six double beds for up to three guests. Private rooms with their own bathroom are also offered: one with two king beds and one with a bathtub, a single bed and three queen beds, both sleeping up to three guests.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and the hostel offers daily housekeeping. The bathtub is in the private room with a single bed and queen beds, and a balcony or terrace is part of the three dormitory rooms of 30 and 40 m². Khaosan Road is 600 m from the hostel, so the street life of the area is close to every room.

Miss Zhao Hostel has a shared lounge with a TV area, a game room, a solarium and a smoking area, along with shops and a convenience store. The hostel is a place where you can find several everyday services in one building.

Miss Zhao Hostel is in the Khaosan area of Banglamphu, a district of narrow streets, older Thai shophouses and guesthouses that have grown up around Khaosan Road. The street itself is one of Bangkok's best-known backpacker streets, with street food stalls and small bars along it, and the neighbourhood stays lively into the evening, while the quieter lanes behind it are calmer.

The old city is within walking distance of the hostel: Khaosan Road is 600 m away, and the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) lie within the same historic core, 1.8 km from the hostel. Wat Arun stands across the Chao Phraya river, reached by ferry from the piers along the riverside, and the Rattanakosin area around the palaces is where most of the city's oldest temples and museums sit. The Sam Yot MRT station is 1.8 km away for trips to other parts of the city.

A good day could start at the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, then cross the river to Wat Arun before a meal back in Khaosan. For markets, Norrarat Market is 200 m from the hostel, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market is 6.6 km away.
