Miku Guesthouse

Miku Guesthouse offers rooms for solo travellers, couples and small groups, from a single room for one guest to a triple room for up to three guests. All the rooms are air-conditioned and non-smoking, and they share bathroom facilities, so none of them has a private bathroom. The rooms take from one guest in the Single Room up to three guests in the Triple Room, with two-guest rooms in between.

Beds range from single and semi-double to queen, and every room has a desk and toiletries. Two of the rooms have a street view, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Depending on the room, there can be a mirror, a hair dryer, a clothes rack or free bottled water.

Miku Guesthouse provides room service, luggage storage, dry cleaning and express check-in and check-out, and an elevator serves the building. Tours can be arranged, ticket services are offered, and there is on-site parking. Pets are allowed, and charges apply.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and in the public areas, and the property is smoke-free. Private check-in and check-out is offered too, and English, Spanish and Thai are spoken. Dry cleaning and luggage storage are both offered at the guesthouse, and the rooms come with air conditioning.

Soi Sukhumvit 31 is one of the side lanes running off Sukhumvit Road, the long boulevard that cuts east through central Bangkok. The guesthouse sits in Wattana, a district where the lanes are lined with cafés, small hotels and spas, and the centre of the city is a short ride away.

The Sukhumvit MRT station is 600 m away and the Asok BTS station 750 m, so the metro and skytrain connect the area with the central districts. Soi Cowboy, a lane known for its bars, is close by, and The Siam Society museum is also near. For the sights, the Chatuchak Weekend Market is 6.9 km away and the Grand Palace 8.2 km, and both can be reached by taxi. Both the metro and the skytrain serve the stations near the guesthouse, and they link Sukhumvit Road with much of central Bangkok, so the rest of the city is never far from the guesthouse.

A full day could start at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, then cross the Chao Phraya river to Wat Arun. Back in Sukhumvit, Jim Thompson House, a traditional teak house museum, is a good stop, and Siam Paragon is the place for shopping and dinner.
