Mascot Hostel

The rooms at Mascot Hostel range from a single bed and a semi-double bed to bunk beds and dormitory rooms for up to three guests, and the rooms sleep between one and three guests. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and several rooms have a city view or a street view.

Mascot Hostel is on a side street off Ratchaprarop Road, in the Makkasan area of Ratchathewi, so the bustle of Pratunam is a short walk away.

The Airport Rail Link Ratchaprarop Station is 250 m away, and its line runs to Suvarnabhumi Airport, so the airport is reachable by train from this neighbourhood. Trains on this single line run directly to the airport, with no change needed. Pratunam Market and the Baiyoke II Tower are nearby. For shopping, Siam Paragon is 1.2 km away, and the Jim Thompson House, the former home of the American silk entrepreneur Jim Thompson, is 1.7 km away.

A good day could start at the Grand Palace, 5.6 km away, with its Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and then cross the river to Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn. In the evening, the riverfront complex of Asiatique is a pleasant place to finish. The Chatuchak Weekend Market is a longer journey, but it is one of the city's best-known markets.
