Viewpoint Hill, 3.3 km away, offers a high lookout over the surrounding countryside. Lanta Old Town, 7.4 km away, is the island's main old town, and Mu Ko Lanta National Park, 12.7 km away, protects forest, beaches and the waters around the island. Roads link the villages and beaches, so trips around the island are made by road, and Khao Mai Kaew Cave is another place to see.

A good plan is to start the day on Klong Khong Beach and head to Viewpoint Hill in the afternoon. The Sunset Viewpoint is close to the villa, so the evening can finish there. The national park and the cave make a full day together, and the beaches fit in around them.
