The villa stands in the Pra Ae area of Koh Lanta, near the island's Long Beach, a long stretch of sand that gives this side of the island its beach-holiday character. Koh Lanta lies in the Andaman Sea off the Krabi coast and is reached by ferry from the mainland, so the journey ends with a boat crossing. Once on the island, scooters and songthaews are the usual way to get around, and the villa sits close enough to the sand for a stroll to the water.

The beach is about 70 m from the villa, and Khlong Khong Beach lies 1.6 km away, another sandy stretch of the island's coast. Kantiang Bay, at 5.1 km, is a bay with beaches of its own, and Mu Ko Lanta National Park, at 15.9 km, protects a marine area of islands and reefs that many visitors explore by boat. Inland, the island's hills and caves offer a different side of Koh Lanta, away from the sand.

A good day here starts with a swim off Long Beach, then a boat trip out to the islands of Mu Ko Lanta National Park, which is best reached by boat. Back on land, a scooter ride to the bays on the coast fills the afternoon, and a stop in Lanta Old Town makes a quiet end to the day. In the rainy months, sea conditions can make boat trips less predictable.
