MAïLO pool villa

The accommodation is one private pool villa, rented as a whole house, so it is available to a single group of up to ten guests, and pets are allowed. Air conditioning is part of the villa's equipment.

The villa is in the Bophut area of Koh Samui, the second-largest island in Thailand, in the Gulf of Thailand. Bophut began as a fishing village, and the island's main beaches, including Chaweng Yai, are within a few kilometres of the property. Koh Samui is reached by air at Samui Airport on the island itself, while Surat Thani Airport on the mainland is further away.

Fisherman's Village, 1.9 km away, is a walking street lined with small shops, and Haad Bophut beach, 2.4 km away, is the closest stretch of sand. Big Buddha, a large seated statue on a hillside above the bay, is 4.1 km away and is one of the island's best-known sights. Chaweng Yai Beach, 3.5 km away, is a smaller bay beside the busier Chaweng strip, with a quieter stretch of sand for the day.

A useful plan is to visit Big Buddha in the morning, swim at Haad Bophut in the afternoon, and walk Fisherman's Village in the evening. The Night Market, 2.8 km away, is a good place to end the day, and Na Muang Waterfall is further inland and makes a good day trip. Haad Bophut is the closest beach, so it is the simplest option for a swim before dinner.
