LGT Guest house

Every room at LGT Guest house has air conditioning and a private bathroom with a shower, and the rooms are arranged for groups of two, three and five guests. Guests can choose a room for two with its own private entrance, a room for three with a single bed and a king bed, or a room for up to five guests with a private bathroom and a mirror.

The three-guest room also offers a city view, with a seating area and a private entrance. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, so guests can get online from wherever they choose to rest after a day out in the city.

LGT Guest house has a laundry service on site, and luggage storage lets guests leave their bags before or after their stay. Express check-in and check-out are available, and English and Thai are spoken at the property. Luggage storage also means guests can explore the city without carrying heavy bags.

Guests who travel by car can use the free parking on site. Free Wi-Fi covers all rooms, and internet access is offered alongside it, while the rooms come with air conditioning, private bathrooms and showers.

LGT Guest house is on Sukhumvit 66/1, a soi off Sukhumvit Road in the Bang Chak area of Phra Khanong district, on the eastern side of Bangkok. The street is a local neighbourhood with small shops and a residential feel, and the tourist sights of the old city are a longer trip away by BTS and river.

The BTS Skytrain is the main link to the rest of the city. Udom Suk BTS Station is 500 m away, and Siam Paradise Night Bazar is a short walk from the guesthouse. Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre in the Siam district, is 10.5 km away, while Wat Arun, on the Thonburi bank of the Chao Phraya, is 14.3 km away and sits in the old city near the Grand Palace. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 15.6 km away.

A good day could start on the BTS at Udom Suk, with a visit to Siam Paragon and the Jim Thompson House, then continue to the old city for the Grand Palace and Wat Arun. On weekends, the Chatuchak Weekend Market is one of the city's best-known markets, and Khaosan Road in the old city is known for its street life in the evening, when the lanes fill up after dark.
