Laemsui Beach

The rooms at Laemsui Beach include double and twin layouts, and several face the sea with either a full or partial sea view. The 55 m² and 45 m² rooms sleep up to three guests, and the Deluxe Double Room With Sea View sleeps up to four. The Deluxe Sea View rooms add private beach access and a flat-screen TV, while some rooms have air conditioning and blackout curtains.

The Signature Double Room has a balcony or terrace and a seating area, and it also has a desk with a laptop workspace. Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and air conditioning is fitted in several of them.

Laemsui Beach is in Chaiya District, a rural district of Surat Thani province in southern Thailand, where the pace is slower than in the provincial city. The resort has its own private beach, so the sea and the sand are part of the stay rather than a trip out from it. Life here follows the rhythm of the district, and the hotel itself offers the pool, the beach and the restaurant as its main attractions.

Around Laemsui Beach, the temple of Wat Phum Riang is about 5.7 km away, and the historic temple Wat Phra Borommathat Chaiya Worawihan is 12.7 km off. Chaiya Railway Station is 11.3 km away, and Surat Thani Airport is 35.4 km away, the nearest airport in the area, so the road from it is the usual way in by car.

The hotel's private beach is the place for non-motorised water sports and fishing, and tours can be arranged for trips further afield. Surat Thani town, with its night market and its pillar shrine, lies further off, and it makes a good half-day outing for those who want to see more of the province. A relaxed day can mix time on the beach and at the pool with a short trip to the temples in the district.
