Kudi Hostel

Kudi Hostel offers rooms with a private bathroom, rooms with a shared bathroom and dormitory beds. The double room with a private bathroom measures 14 m² and has a double bed. Other rooms include an 11 m² room with a bunk bed and a shared bathroom, and 14 m² rooms with a double bed or a single bed.

Kudi Hostel is on Pan Road in Silom, the business district of central Bangkok, where office towers stand beside older shophouses, small markets and temples. The mix gives the area a busy, varied feel: the side streets are lined with food stalls and small shops, and the district stays busy into the evening.

Close by are the Sri Mahamariamman Temple, a Hindu temple on Silom Road, and the Chong Nonsi Canal Park along the canal. The Saint Louis BTS station is 450 m away, on the Silom line of the Skytrain. Oriental Pier, 1 km away, is a Chao Phraya river pier where boats stop, and the Jim Thompson House museum, set in traditional Thai houses, is a few kilometres further on.

A good day out starts at Oriental Pier, where you can take a boat across the river to Wat Arun, a temple on the far bank with a tall spire, and the crossing is part of the outing. The river has long been the city's main route, and its boats still carry travellers up and down the water. Chatuchak Weekend Market, 8.9 km away, is a longer trip, best made on a weekend when the market is open.
