Krung Tone Hostel

Air conditioning is standard in the rooms, and the choice runs from twin rooms and a double room to family rooms, a quadruple room and a mixed dormitory with a single bed. Some rooms have a private bathroom and others share one, so the bathroom arrangement depends on the room you book.

Beds are single, bunk or double, and some rooms have a kitchenette, soundproofing, blackout curtains or a window. The rooms sleep from one guest in the mixed dormitory to four in the Quadraple Room. Pairs can book a twin room with single beds or a double room, and groups of three or four can book the family room or one of the quadruple rooms.

Krung Tone Hostel offers daily housekeeping, luggage storage, private check-in and check-out, and 24-hour security. Guests can use the shared lounge and TV area, the game room and the shared kitchen, and Wi-Fi is also available in the public areas.

English and Thai are spoken at the hostel, and paid parking is available for a daily fee. Rooms can come with toiletries and a shower, and the hostel has a family room for up to three guests, while the Quadraple Room sleeps up to four.

Krung Tone Hostel is on Charoennakorn Road in the Khlong San district of Bangkok, close to the Chao Phraya river and to the temples and piers along its banks. The area is a mix of temples, piers and everyday neighbourhood life, with the river as its main thread, and it suits visitors who like to explore on foot and by boat. The river is the easiest way to see how the neighbourhood connects with the rest of the city, and the piers nearby are a few hundred metres from the hostel.

Wat Sawettachat Worawihan, a riverside pagoda, is 400 m away. The Krung Thon Buri BTS station is 850 m from the hostel, and the Krung Thonburi Golden Line station is also close by, so the rail network can take you to the rest of the city. Wat Arun, known as the Temple of Dawn, is 3.6 km away, and the Grand Palace is 4.2 km away, with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha inside its walls.

A day here can start at the river with a boat towards Wat Arun, then continue to the Grand Palace later on. In the evening, Asiatique The Riverfront, a riverside complex of shops and dining with a Ferris wheel, is 1 km away.
