Takua Pa Old Town is 4.5 km away, with its streets of old shophouses, and the Iron Bridge, Phra Narai Park and the Wat Yan Yao pagoda are all close by. Bangsak Beach, a sandy stretch of coast, is about 13.3 km away. Phuket International Airport is 84.6 km away, so the drive from the airport is a long one by road, and the journey is best planned with a car or a taxi for the whole trip.

Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park, 30.1 km away, has forest trails and waterfalls inland, and Similan National Park, 35.7 km away, is a group of islands reached by boat. Boat trips depend on sea conditions, which can change quickly, so a day inland at the national park is a good alternative when the sea is rough. A walk in the park and a visit to the old town make a full day from the resort, with the beach to finish the afternoon.
