Khlongsan Hostel Bar and Cafe

The rooms at Khlongsan Hostel Bar and Cafe range from mixed dormitory rooms with bunk beds to a double bed room with a queen bed and a family room for three guests. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and linen service and blackout curtains are offered in some rooms.

Khlongsan Hostel Bar and Cafe stands on Charoen Rat Road in Khlong San, a Bangkok district on the Chao Phraya river that is known as Bangkok Riverside. The river is close by, with Khlong San Pier and several other Chao Phraya ferry piers within a few hundred metres, so boats are easy to reach for anyone who wants to get out onto the water.

Wat Arun, the riverside temple with its tall tiered prang, is 2.7 km away, and The Grand Palace, which includes the Temple of the Emerald Buddha within its walls, is 3 km away. Patchamit Fort is 300 m from the hostel, and the Talad Noi Museum, in the old Talad Noi neighbourhood, is 800 m away. Khaosan Road, the backpacker street known for its guesthouses, is 3.6 km away.

A full day can combine the riverside temples with the old city: start with Wat Arun and the Grand Palace, then head to Khaosan Road in the evening. The Charoen Nakhon and Khlong San BTS stations are a short walk away for trips further into the city, and Khlong San Pier is a Chao Phraya ferry pier a short walk from the hostel, and both BTS stations are close by.
