Khaosan Social Capsule Hostel

Khaosan Social Capsule Hostel offers dormitory rooms, single capsules and one standard room. The dormitories include mixed-gender and female-only options, with single beds, a double bed for two people and a bunk bed in a capsule. The standard room has two double beds and sleeps up to four guests.

Some rooms measure 25 m² and others 15 m², and the 15 m² rooms have a balcony or terrace. Air conditioning is part of the room equipment, and several rooms also have blackout curtains, a refrigerator or a microwave. Bathrooms are shared, with showers and hair dryers. Guests can choose between single beds, a double bed and a bunk bed, depending on the room they book.

The old city is compact enough to explore on foot from here, while the wider city is reached by taxi or the metro.

The old city's temples and palaces are close by. The Grand Palace is 1.4 km away and Wat Arun, the temple on the bank of the Chao Phraya, is 2.1 km away. Wat Bowonniwet is a temple close to the hostel, and the Phra Arthit ferry terminal on the river is nearby for boats along the Chao Phraya. For the metro, Sam Yot MRT Station is 1.6 km away, and Wat Phra Chetuphon is 1.6 km away as well.

A day can start with a walk to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, the temple of the Reclining Buddha, then a river ferry to Wat Arun. In the evening, the streets around Khao San Road fill with street-food stalls and bars, so the day ends in the same neighbourhood it started in.
