K.D.M Hostel

The Royal Thai Air Force Museum, which has a collection of historic aircraft, is 2.7 km away. The Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's largest weekend markets, is 14.6 km away, and the Grand Palace, the royal complex in the old city, is 22.2 km away. Those sights are a longer trip across the city, so a taxi or the public transport network is the practical way to reach them.

A relaxed day could start at Wat Don Muang and the Royal Thai Air Force Museum, then continue to the Chatuchak Weekend Market, which is open at weekends. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun, on the bank of the Chao Phraya river, make a fuller day out in the old city.
