Jidapa Resort

Every room at Jidapa Resort sleeps up to three guests, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Several rooms have air conditioning, and one of them includes a private bathroom with a shower.

The rooms include a Standard Room, a Deluxe Room, a Deluxe Air Conditioning room, a Standard Air Conditioning room, a Standard Double Room and a Bungalow. Each one has its own size and equipment, from the air-conditioned rooms to the Bungalow, which measures 25 m².

The resort has a 24-hour front desk, a concierge, luggage storage and daily housekeeping, and the garden and shared lounge with a TV area give guests places to relax. Elevator access, bicycle rental and 24-hour security are also available.

Dining options include restaurants, 24-hour room service and an Asian breakfast. Wi-Fi is free in all rooms and also works in the public areas, and there is wired internet as well.

Paid parking is on site for guests who arrive by car, and the resort has a designated smoking area. Rooms can have air conditioning, a desk, a fan, linens, toiletries and a shower. Staff at the front desk speak English and Thai.

Jidapa Resort is in the Ayutthaya Riverside area, in the former capital of the Siamese kingdom, a city best known for the ruins of its royal palaces and temples. The ruins are part of the Historic City of Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and most of the ancient sites lie within a short distance of the resort.

Wat Chaiwatthanaram, a temple with Khmer-style prang towers, is 400 m away, and Pom Phet Fortress, the old royal palace enclosure inside the Ayutthaya Historical Park, is 350 m away. Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, once the royal temple, is 2 km away, and the Ayutthaya Floating Market & Elephant Village is 5.5 km from the resort. Other temples, such as Wat Mahathat, are a few kilometres further on.

Bicycle rental is available at the resort, and the temples are close enough for a day spent on foot or by bike, starting with Wat Chaiwatthanaram and the fortress. Ayutthaya Historical Park is the main sightseeing area, and the resort is near enough to it that cycling there is a simple option for a full day of sightseeing. Don Mueang International Airport, 48.1 km away, is the nearest airport, and Suvarnabhumi Airport lies further away near Bangkok.
