Baan Khung Thara - Ayutthaya

The rooms at Baan Khung Thara - Ayutthaya include standard twin and double rooms of 30 m² and a 50 m² villa with a choice of bed set-ups. The standard twin room has two single beds, and the standard double room has a super king bed. Several rooms have a garden view, and the villa sleeps up to three guests.

Wat Thammaram is 100 m away, and the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Lokayasutharam), with its large reclining Buddha image, is 750 m away. Ayutthaya Historical Park, 1.3 km from the property, brings together the ruined palaces and temples of the old city, while Wat Chaiwatthanaram, a riverside temple with a Khmer-style prang, is also close. Ayutthaya Train Station is 4 km away and Don Mueang International Airport is 49.5 km away. The sites are spread across the city, so a taxi or hired transport helps when you want to cover several areas in one day.

A full day can start at Ayutthaya Historical Park, continue to the riverside Wat Chaiwatthanaram, and finish with the reclining Buddha at Wat Lokayasutharam, close to the hotel. Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, the former royal temple, fits well into the same route through the old palace grounds, and the rest of the historic core can be reached on the same outing.
