Innspire Bangkok

Innspire Bangkok has double rooms for two guests and rooms that sleep up to three. The double rooms each have a King bed, air conditioning and a courtyard view, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Rooms for three guests can be booked at the guesthouse, and children are welcome, with children aged 3 to 12 staying free when they use the existing bedding. Extra beds depend on the room chosen, and a baby cot can be requested directly from the property, subject to availability.

Innspire Bangkok offers an airport transfer and a shuttle service, and tours can be arranged. Bicycle rental is available, and daily housekeeping and laundry service are offered as well. Guests who want their clothes washed can use the laundry service.

Check-in can be express or private, and check-out can be express or private too. There is 24-hour security, a shared lounge with a TV area, and Xerox and fax in the business centre.

English, German and Thai are spoken, and a continental breakfast is available. Free Wi-Fi covers all rooms, and Wi-Fi also works in the public areas. Parking nearby is paid, and a daily fee applies to guests who drive.

The Khaosan area lies in Phra Nakhon district, in the old town of Bangkok, a neighbourhood of guesthouses, cafés and small bookshops set among royal temples and palaces. It is best explored on foot, where the temples, palaces and museums of the old town sit close together. Khaosan Road, the best-known street here, is 450 m from Innspire Bangkok.

The Grand Palace complex, 1.1 km away, holds Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and Wat Phra Chetuphon, the temple of the reclining Buddha, is also close by. Wat Arun, 1.8 km away on the river, is a riverside temple with a tall, tiered tower, and the October 14 Memorial, which commemorates the 1973 uprising, is also close by. Don Mueang International Airport is 20.9 km away and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 28 km away, and the Sam Yot MRT station is also nearby.

A full day could start at the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, continue to the Democracy Monument on Ratchadamnoen Avenue, and end with dinner on Khaosan Road. In the evening, the streets around Khaosan Road fill with bars and small restaurants. The Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's largest markets, is worth a separate day out.
