Inn A Day

Each room at Inn A Day has a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV, and the rooms measure between 24 and 32 m². Some have a river view, others a balcony, and a few add a bathtub or a coffee and tea maker.

Toiletries and towels come with the rooms, and several bathrooms have a walk-in shower and a hair dryer. Slippers and free bottled water are provided in several rooms. Balcony rooms add outdoor space, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Several rooms also have a coffee and tea maker, and the flat-screen TV is part of the in-room set-up.

Inn A Day has restaurants, a bar, a coffee shop and room service, and a buffet breakfast is served. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and internet services and Wi-Fi are offered in the public areas too. Inn A Day is on Maharat Road in Phra Nakhon, the historic core of Bangkok, where royal palaces, temples and museums sit close together along the Chao Phraya, in a dense web of lanes. The streets are lined with street food stalls and small shops, and the river gives the district a slower pace than the malls and towers of Siam.

Wat Pho is 250 m away, with its giant reclining Buddha and its traditional massage school, and Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, is 300 m away across the river. The Grand Palace is 550 m from the hotel, and Khaosan Road, 1.7 km away, is the backpacker street with bars and street food. Tha Tien Pier is on the river beside the district, and the ferries from it reach the temples on the far bank, where there is a Wat Arun pier.

A good day here begins at Wat Pho, then moves to the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, with the Museum of Siam a short walk away. In the afternoon, cross to Wat Arun by ferry from Tha Tien Pier, or take the metro from Sanam Chai MRT station, 450 m away, to reach the rest of the city.
