Siam Paragon and MBK Center, two large shopping centres, can be reached by BTS, and the Khlong Toey Market, a large fresh-food market, lies nearby. A full day could start at the Grand Palace, 8.5 km from the inn, and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha inside it, then continue to Wat Arun across the river. Chatuchak Weekend Market, 8.8 km away, is a large market open at weekends, and Asiatique The Riverfront is a riverside night market for the evening. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun are both large sites, so they make a good pair for one day.
