Every room at Hive 28 Guest House has a balcony, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Rooms sleep up to two or three guests, and several of them have air conditioning and a shower.

The hotel sits close to the university and its sports grounds, a few minutes' walk from the wider network of local streets and the Ramkhamhaeng Road traffic.

The Airport Rail Link station at Ramkhamhaeng is 2.2 km away, and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 15.8 km away. Wat Ban Thung Seri, a pagoda within walking distance, is one of the local temples. Chatuchak Weekend Market is 9.2 km away, and the Grand Palace is 13.7 km away in the old city, on the Chao Phraya river.

A full day could take in the Chatuchak Weekend Market, with its stalls selling clothes, food and crafts, and then the Grand Palace and Wat Arun in the old city later on. The Jim Thompson House, a teak-built museum house in the centre of Bangkok, could fill an afternoon between visits to the temples and the river of the old city.
