Hits Hostel

Every room at Hits Hostel measures 18 m² and has air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a shared bathroom with a shower. The rooms range from mixed and women-only dormitories with bunk beds to rooms for two and for four guests.

Dormitories have two or three bunk beds, and the room with a double bed has a city view, a desk and a flat-screen TV. Each room also has a locker.

The hostel has a 24-hour front desk, room service, a bar, a coffee shop and a kitchen, and buffet and continental breakfasts are available. Guests can also use the lift, the lockers and the luggage storage.

For getting around, an airport transfer and a shuttle service are offered, and parking is on site. Tours, ticket services and a concierge are also available, and daily housekeeping, laundry service and dry cleaning are provided.

Hits Hostel is in the Khaosan area of Bangkok's Phra Nakhon district, in the historic old city, where guesthouses, street-food stalls and tailors line the lanes around Khao San Road. The lanes stay busy late into the evening, and most of the old city's sights are a short trip away rather than in the business districts.

Khao San Road is 250 m away, and the Grand Palace is within 1.4 km. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Phra Kaew, sits inside the Grand Palace complex, and Wat Arun, on the Chao Phraya riverbank, is 2.2 km away. The Chao Phraya river is close by, with boats leaving from the Phra Arthit pier nearby, and the Sam Yot MRT station is also close by. Several of the temples and palaces are in the same part of the old city, so one walk can cover more than one of them.

A day here can start at the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, then cross the river to Wat Arun and return by boat, with the Phra Arthit pier a useful stop along the river. The Chatuchak Weekend Market is further out and is best saved for a separate day. Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi airports are 20.4 km and 28.4 km away.
