The rooms at Hide Bangkok hostel measure between 20 and 30 m² and range from mixed and private dormitories with bunk beds to double, triple and deluxe rooms. Several rooms have a city view, and some have a private bathroom, while the dormitory rooms share one.

Beds range from king and queen beds to single and bunk beds, and some rooms are set up for groups of up to ten guests. It is a working neighbourhood of local markets, apartment blocks and street-side food stalls, with a more local feel than the tourist districts closer to the river. Sukhumvit Road itself is lined with shops and hotels, while the side streets around it stay quieter.

From On Nut BTS Station, 500 m away, the Sukhumvit line runs into the centre, to Siam, where the big malls are. Siam Paragon is 8 km from the hostel, and the Jim Thompson House, the teak-house museum that was home to the silk entrepreneur Jim Thompson, is also in the central area. Phra Khanong BTS Station is also in the area, and Phra Khanong Market is close by.

For a full day out, the BTS can take you to Siam for the malls and on to the Jim Thompson House, while the Grand Palace and Wat Arun sit on the river further into the old city. Chatuchak Weekend Market, 11.5 km away, is one of the largest weekend markets in the city, and Suvarnabhumi Airport, 16.7 km away, is the main airport for arrivals. The Asiatique - The Riverfront complex is a night market and shopping area by the river.
