HI.Mid Bangkok

Air conditioning is in every room at HI.Mid Bangkok, which offers double rooms and dormitory beds. The double rooms, which measure 16 and 20 m², each have a double bed for up to two guests. The dormitories, one for women only and one mixed, have a bunk bed for one guest and a shared bathroom.

Victory Monument BTS Station is 400 m from the property, and the elevated line runs to Siam and Sukhumvit. Jim Thompson House, a teak house museum that belonged to the American silk entrepreneur, is 2.1 km away, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, which has thousands of stalls, is 4 km away. Victory Point and the Wat Thatsanarun Suntharikaram pagoda are both within a short walk.

A full day could combine the Chatuchak market with the riverside temples. The Grand Palace is 5.6 km away, and Wat Arun stands across the Chao Phraya River from it, both reached by taxi or river boat. Wat Phra Chetuphon, home of the giant reclining Buddha, lies near the Grand Palace, so the old city can be seen in one trip. Each stop takes a separate journey, so it helps to plan the day around the river.
