Green Home Khaolak

The rooms at Green Home Khaolak run from a 25 m² double with a lagoon view to a 54 m² family studio with a street view. Other rooms face a lake or an outdoor area, and the family studios sleep up to four and six guests.

Several rooms have king beds, and some bathrooms come with a walk-in shower. Air conditioning and a fan are available in several rooms, and some rooms also have a coffee and tea maker with complimentary tea, mosquito nets and linens. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Bang Niang sits on the Phangnga coast of southern Thailand, in the Khao Lak area, where a sandy beach runs below forested hills. Khao Lak was badly hit by the 2004 tsunami, and the coast has since become a relaxed mix of beach-side villages, small guesthouses and local markets. It is a practical base for beach days and for trips inland to the hills and the national park.

The Tsunami Museum, 200 m away, tells the story of the 2004 disaster, and the Bang Niang market is a short distance from the property. Inland, Ton Chong Fa Waterfall, 3.9 km away, is a five-tier waterfall, and Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park lies in the hills behind the coast. Khao Lak Mini Golf and the sandy shore at Bang Niang Beach are also close by.

A good day can start at the Tsunami Museum, continue with a visit to Ton Chong Fa Waterfall and end with an evening at the Bang Niang market and the beach. For a trip out to sea, Similan National Park, 10.6 km away, protects a group of islands that are reached by boat, and Phuket International Airport, 62.2 km away, is the nearest airport for arriving guests.
