Grandprapa Place

Grandprapa Place offers rooms with a king bed, a double bed or two single beds, and several of them have a city view. Some rooms measure 40 m² and others 60 m², and some rooms sleep up to four guests.

Several rooms have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a mini bar and a refrigerator, and a few also have a microwave. The rooms with a city view look out over the city.

Grandprapa Place has a 24-hour front desk that is staffed through the night, a concierge and an elevator, and dry cleaning and laundry service are available. Guests can use the fitness centre, the sauna and the garden, and English and Thai are spoken. The elevator makes getting around the building easy.

The Ratchada area lies along Ratchadaphisek Road, a busy stretch of Bangkok with office buildings, shopping centres and night markets. Grandprapa Place sits on Soi 3, close to the metro and to local street life, away from the old temple district. The area has plenty of street food, and the metro makes the rest of the city reachable.

The Thailand Cultural Centre MRT station is 700 m away, and the Blue Line from it runs to Sukhumvit and Silom, two of central Bangkok's busiest districts. Nearby, the Train Night Market Ratchada and the Reflexology Garden are both within a few hundred metres. The Chatuchak Weekend Market is 4.2 km away, in the north of the city, and the Grand Palace is about 8 km away, reached by taxi or by boat along the Chao Phraya river.

A day could start at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, which runs at weekends, and end with street food at the Train Night Market Ratchada, close to the property. For a river day, the Grand Palace is the classic sight to pair with Wat Arun, which stands across the river from it. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 21.8 km away, so the airport is a longer ride from here.
