Global Beach Hostel - Ao Nang

Global Beach Hostel - Ao Nang has dormitory accommodation, including a female-only dormitory, a mixed dormitory and a room measuring 80 m². Both 60 m² dormitories have seven bunk beds each.

Some rooms have air conditioning, blackout curtains are fitted in the dormitories, and daily housekeeping is provided across the hostel.

The hostel has a 24-hour front desk and daily housekeeping, and tours can be arranged. Lockers are available for guests to store their belongings during the day. Air conditioning is available in the public area, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, with Wi-Fi in the public areas too.

Ao Nang is a beach town on the Andaman coast of Krabi province, with a long strip of sand lined with restaurants, tour offices and street-food stalls. The hostel is in the Nopparat Thara area, where the evenings are busy with night markets and the beach is the main draw for most visitors. The sand, the evening food and the night markets are all within a short distance of the hostel.

Noppharathara Beach is 150 m from the hostel, and Ao Nang Beach, the main stretch of sand in town, is 1.2 km away. Boats for the islands leave from the piers along the coast: Railay Beach, reached by boat, is 4.3 km away, and Poda Island is 7.7 km away. The Ao Nang Night Market is a short walk from the hostel, and the Wednesday Evening Market is also close.

For a day out, boat trips from Ao Nang reach Phra Nang Cave, Railay and the Hong Islands, a group of islands in the Andaman Sea. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hillside temple complex inland, is a good choice for a half-day trip. Emerald Pool, a forest pool in the national park, lies further inland. Sea conditions can be rougher in the rainy months, so boat trips may be affected.
