Chatuchak Park is a large public park, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market is 950 m from the hotel. For the historic sights, the Grand Palace is 9.2 km away on the Chao Phraya River bank, and Don Mueang International Airport is 13.2 km away, while Suvarnabhumi Airport lies further out to the east.

A good day can start at the weekend market, which sells clothing, plants, food and crafts, and continue by train to the centre. The Grand Palace and the temples of the old city are better planned as a separate outing, since the trip across the city takes a good part of the day.
